wide·screen gam·ing fo·rum (wsgf):
[-noun] Web community dedicated to ensuring PC games run properly on your tablet, netbook, personal computer, HDTV and multi-monitor gaming rig.
After spending more than a week to make this possible it's finally live!!!!
As it is said on the website is still a prototype as I am still experimenting various things.
WHY THIS... ?
... Because of the lack of content !
There isn't any website to stream 3D Videos in Surround resolutions...That's right!!! SURROUND resolutions in stereoscopic 3D,
mainly since it is considered a "niche" market and it also requires a lot of storage space to "hold" a video.
Sanctum 2 is a first person shooter hoard mode game with tower defence elements, where as the original was a tower defence with an fps element, confused? It's a matter of emphasise, in the first game the emphasise was on the tower defence aspect of the game, however in this one the focus is on the first person shooting with the tower defence very much playing a supporting roll. This basically means Sanctum 2 is a different game, and how much you like it will depends on if your here for the shooting, or the tower defence.
As for it's multi-monitor support, at the time this video was created the game is vertical minus by default, but that is fairly easily fixed (see below). Menus are stretched as are the comic book panels that deliver the story at the start of each level, the HUD however is correctly scaled but it's spanned, that said, allot of the important information is centred.
The video itself is part analysis, part walkthough and part waffle, feel free to like or dislike my video and comment are always welcome too.
While this video can be watched on any screen it has been encoded to look best on a multi-monitor system, so if your running such a system, then select original quality from the drop down box and watch in fullscreen.
So this isn't about the film, this is about me and a username I've been using since 2006 when Lucky Number Slevin was released and I got the xbox 360. Started the little box of tricks and thinking "what gamertag should I use?". So yes I was a console gamer up until January 2012, I quit PC back in the early 2000s. I started university and although had to have a computer due to doing Computer Science I couldn't afford the graphics cards back then. So through the Xbox and then onto the 360 I really enjoyed console gaming.
StarDrive is an realtime 4X game, you can create your own space empire then you must Explore, Expand, Exploit and Exterminate your way to control the galaxy. The multi-monitor support in this game is fairly good (great if you consider the fact it's made by one guy), the only stretching in the game is the backdrop, otherwise everything scales correctly and the 3d (it might be well drawn 2D) is horizontal plus. It does however suffer from the UI being spanned, this causes some issues with some interfaces placing information across all 3 screens which is not ideal, other interfaces are perfectly find being position accross the 3 screens in a game like this.

A video showing the differences in lcd panel types and what it mean to multi-monitor gamers. Gameplay is from Battlefield Bad Company 2, in which I now suck at.
I had a special opportunity to get a set of keys to give away the full version of WinXDVD's software called WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe.
WSGF is a home of close friends and people interested in the same stuff that I am, so here I am to share this great opportunity and give back a little to a place that has given me so much.
Up for grabs are 25 chances to win this software, all the details on how to enter and get the best chances to win are a click away on my YouTube page.
A video showing the differences between monitor setups and what vendors support which.
Gameplay footage is from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, recorded via Afterburner on Project64.
Check out the rest of my channel for other multi-monitor content.
