wide·screen gam·ing fo·rum (wsgf):
[-noun] Web community dedicated to ensuring PC games run properly on your tablet, netbook, personal computer, HDTV and multi-monitor gaming rig.
BioShock Infinite is a first person shooter with some RPG elements, it has great multi-monitor support. It should detect your desktop resolution automatically on launch, it's horizontal plus, and has centred HUDs and menus on both NVIDIA and AMD cards, however some AMD users are reporting issues with none centred HUDs. The developers even went so far as to put "Multi-monitor" in the aspect ratio selection within the options.
The videos themselves are pretty much just the first section of the game with a little bit of commentary and multi-monitor information given at the start, feel free to like or dislike my video and comment are always welcome too.
While this video can be watched on any screen it has been encoded to look best on a multi-monitor system, so if your running such a system, then select original quality from the drop down box and watch in fullscreen.
SimCity is a city building / city management game from Maxis, it has native multi-monitor support, it's horizontal plus and the HUD is correctly scaled. While the UI is spanned, in a game like this it is often preferable to have it that way as it allows you to view your city without the UI being in the way. However the game has always online DRM which is currently causing a lot of people problems, most notable of which is the login queues, and the worst of which is losing hours worth of gameplay because the game failed to sync. They are trying to fix these issues but as the game have moved all the cities onto there servers it's something you need to be aware of first.

Crysis 3 is a first person shooter that should be the final episode in the trilogy, even if it's not the final game in the franchise, and it's a return to its GPU burning ways, while not quiet as graphically intense as the original, it is definitely more intense then the last game. As for the games multi-monitor support is a mixed bag, but it's mostly good, the game renders horizontal plus but HUD in the single player is spanned and stretched, however in multi-player it's fine, some cutscreens are 16:9 while others are stretched. There is an option to adjust the HUD area but it doesn't go as low as it needs to, and it squashes the HUD as well as just repositioning it.
The ingame FoV might be a little low for some peoples tastes and unfortunately there isn't an option to change it in game. However the developers have released an official configurations editor which you can use to tweak the FoV among other things, the videos below were recorded with a base horizontal FoV of 90 (base horizontal FoV meaning the horizontal FoV @ a 4:3 aspect ratio, think it was about 70 vertical). A link to the tool can be found below / in the full blog post.

I have a project kick started by a viewer donation. My first one EVER! and so to put that to use for the channel I am starting a project I have thought about doing for a long time. A DIY audio transducer setup for my computer to enhance the realism of my games/movies and make it seem as if I have a much better/better sound system than what I actually have.
I will break this down into parts and walk through each step of the build part by part. This build is good for everybody not just computer gamers as these are very nice for your car, sofa in the living area, bed, and other applications including I plan to try and make a hard of hearing or deaf person vibration alarm clock.
Video 1 is the introduction to the project and thanks to the viewers. Next video will be walking through what to buy and why.

A little tech talk segment, this is sort of a prelude to a review I have coming up for the AntLion Audio ModMic. Learn what SNR is and why it is so important. Knowing SNR and how to control it can make a $5.00 microphone perform better than a $500 microphone.

Sonic Racing Transformed as I'm shortening the name too is a Cart Racer featuring characters from SEGA franchises. By default the game has pretty abysmal multi-monitor support, cutscreens render stretched vertical minus, and if the game tries to render anything 2D or 3D then it just fails to do so, if it wasn't for the fact that it runs at a multi-monitor resolutions I would say it had no support at all. Luckily however the guys on the Stream forum have a fix available but unfortunately it doesn't fix the GUI, details of that fix can be found below / in the full blog post.

Well that was impossible quick, 3 days after the games release and I published my first video on DmC Devil May Cry the developers released a patch. What did that patch do? Well among other things it fixed the FoV issues for multi-monitor users. That's right it took them all of 3 days to fix multi-monitor support, if only other developers were that fast, or even bother trying to fix it (Sony I'm looking at you specifically, get it sorted). This pretty much means the game has almost perfect multi-monitor support, as the GUI was already centred, there are a few trival issues here and there but nothing that effects the flow of the game. The game itself is what you would expect, its a spectacle fighter featuring a younger looking Dante but all the silly over the top fighting you would expect from a Devil May Cry game.

The Cave is a 2.5D puzzle platform that has you controlling three of a colourful array of characters with questionable motives trying to solve puzzles in the world using each of their unique skills. The game has very good multi-monitor support, it's horizontal plus and has a centred HUD, however there are a few of bugs that come from using a multi-monitor. The most crippling of which is an issue where your character can get completely stuck due to the camera trying to focus on something that would ordinary be off-screen at that point.

Today I'm giving you quick look at the most recent Devil May Cry, the game is unfortunately vertical minus, but being an Unreal Engine game there is a configuration option in BaseEngine.ini called AspectRatioAxisConstraint which can be changed to make the game horizontal plus. However because the game wasn't designed for this it creates another issue that is almost as bad, as you fight you'll find the game appearing to zoom out more and more, till it gets to the point that it becomes hard to see attackers coming at you.
At time of writing we don't have a fix for this, the video below will show the issues in more detail and this year I'll be trying to make a habit of making these shorter videos if a game doesn't have proper support. Feel free to like or dislike my video and comment are always welcome too.

I've been following this game since I saw it at Rezzed and was even lucky enough to go see the game while it was in development thanks to the good people at Born Ready. While there they showed us a development build which had their first pass at multi-monitor support, we took the opportunity to give them some advise on what would be nice for multi-monitor support. And I'm pleased to say they implemented pretty much everything we suggested and the game has great multi-monitor support thanks to their effort, better then just about every AAA game from last year.
If I could recommend the game on that alone I would, but the game is a lot of fun for those looking to recapture the space combat simulators of old. The video/s below are my analysis of the games multi-monitor support and my thoughts on the game itself, said commentary gets progressively worse the more I play as I get more immersed in it.
