Hi gatsat,

If you're getting the 3x1680x1050 in Windows but not in FSX, it's likely because your monitor inf file has not been updated to report Th2Go.

Look in your display settings to see if your monitor is listed as "plug and play" or "GXM". If it is detected as plug and play and not gxm, when the game does a mode call to list the resolutions in-game, the new widemodes won't show up.

Feel free to contact our tech support department so they can walk you through the proper process to resolve this "plug and play" detection.

The simple rule of thumb is to get all your hardware setup and updated (i.e. graph card + drivers), THEN make sure you do a clean install of Powerdesk (i.e. you MUST UNINSTALL IT COMPLETELY BEFORE REINSTALLING THE UPDATED VERSION). Doing a fresh uninstall and reinstall of Powerdesk usually fixes the monitor detection problem.

The correct process will yield the detection of a Matrox GXM in the monitor settings rather than a plug and play monitor. If you get this far and are still having problems definitely contact tech support. We'll want to know more details so we can recreate the issue and resolve it.

ok great ! I will definately take a look at this and let you know if it resolves the problem.

Same problem here. I just bought TH2G with 2 new 22" screens yesturday.

I can get 5040x1050@57Hz in the desktop but not in FSX. The highest available is 3840x1024@60Hz. I tried with the SGU optimization without success.

Now I did what Mark B proposed by uninstalling/reinstall the latest PowerDesk soft and if I look at the monitors list, they're all "GXM". But still no 5040x1050 in FSX.

Here's my config:
- Windows Vista Business 32bits
- 2x 8800GTX in SLi with 175.16 driver
- Acer AL2223W and two Samsung 2243BWX

And I have the FSX Acceleration pack.

I have gotten this far and am still having problems. It is only detecting a plug and play monitor. When I first got my TH2GO unit setup it would not give me the new 3x1440x900 or 3x1680x1050 on my desktop. I talked to customer support and they had me uninstall and reinstall everything. Finally we figured out it was the newest Nvidia driver causing the problem, so I rolled back. That solved the problem on my desktop... and it gave me 3x1440x900 in FSX. No one at tech support mentioned the plug and play issue.
I will contact customer support sometime this week. What is the latest they answer the phone CST ? Thanks ! Do they answer on the weekends ?

I believe I rolled back from 177 to 175. I am not in front of that PC right now, but I am almost certain that was the case.
