Slipstream, I'm no expert but I think I'd try installing the 182.5 drivers first, check these work and then move on to the latter drivers.

I think this error is unimportant though, you can go on to try the steps detailed by the OP.

Elior77, yes I got 59.489 working :D

Regards
Fred

Hi there. I just went thru the method here http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=14170&p=178665#p178665 as I have 3xsyncmaster 2032BW. I have managed to get custom res to 5040 / 1050 but all 3 screens are offset. I have a 2 inch black line running vertical down the side of all 3 monitors on the left hand side. Auto adjust does not work. I tried 1 monitor plugged in and it worked like a dream. Not sure how to proceed from here to be honest.

No can do ellior because I already stated that the gxm res setup gives me a WINDOWS ERROR instead of applying new res. Thats why I cannot do as you have prescribed.

Yes, I can set one and all is perfect. But 3? No Go.

What driver is it that influences the resolution change? Powerdesk or geforce? If powerdesk refuses to accept the new resolution then can it stll be forced via geforce control panel?

OK, from the start. I plugged in my new digital box. started PC, and all 3 monitors light up at 3840 / 1024. I updated firmware / reboot. Installed powerdesk / reboot. Windows recognises matrox digital display. I ran through the GXM set-up resolution, 3 ticks and asks me to reboot. I reboot. Press next to continue with new resolution. I then receive a red cross and WINDOWS ERROR instead of a green tick next to installing new resolution. Thats as far as I can go.

I then tried custom resolution in nvidia control panel. I get lots of blank screens - hard re-starts. I managed to get custom 5040 / 1050 (can't remember the refresh rate) but all 3 screens are out of position within the monitor frame. I have a 2 inch gap running down the left hand of all 3 screens.

I tried one monitor plugged directly into my card and it displayed perfectly.

at what step you got stuck ?

if you set your wizard to 1 display @ 1680x1050 you should be ok... then you set your custom res - the refresh rate is the key and it is very important, try 59.4Hz
