Has there been any confirmed fix for this issue yet? (is the powerstrip deal working?) I am having this same issue on Windows XP and now on Win 7. Does anyone know if the 9.11 beta fixes this issue?

I installed Catalyst 9.6 and used those powerstrip settings I posted last and it works great. With 9.10 it wouldn't accept the custom resolution. Didn't bother trying anything in between that since I was using 9.6 before I upgraded and it was all working great. But since downgrading drivers didn't break the resolution back I had to resort to powerstrip. They should work for Analog, for Digital I guess use the ones GeneralAdmission posted.

Also the Catalyst panel in 9.6 is like 10x better than the one in 9.10. I don't see why they removed the easy-to-use left panel.

Anyway, General, you going to approve me on friends so I can gift you or don't you want it anymore :P

I did a fresh install of Windows 7 Ult and loaded the 9.10...guess what "resolution out of range" i could not get it to load the 3840x1024 for anything. I reinstalled the OS and used Cat 9.8 and had no problems....I hope this gets fixed soon. Seems to be little to no concern on the part of ATI about this issue. I saw an unanswered thread on the ati game forums....not good.

Why would they bother, they probably broke it on purpose so you would get EyeFinity.

And you know what ATI, that's great. I would LOVE to get EyeFinity but first how about CF support so I don't have to downgrade my card just to get EyeFinity.
