In preparation for the 5870x2 I am considering a whole new build.

Basically, I am looking at getting the MSI big bang Mobo and If I do that I gotta get new ram and a new processor. Currently I am running an EVGA 750i FTW with 8 gigs of ram and a q6700 Ocd to 3.6ghz on water.

So I am considering the Big Bang, which I assume is a LGA 1366 socket (correct me if im wrong) and I may pair that with an I7-920 Bloomfield.

My question is, I already did alot of modwork on my antec 900 to fit my swiftec H20 watersystem, and even though I really have grown tired of dealing with the 900 case, I really don't wanna replace it unless I have to because of the hassle of moving all the watercooling gear.

So, my question is, will the MASSIVE 5870x2 fit in the Antec 900 or do I have to get another case. If I have to get another case, which one will accomodate the 5870x2 and easily let me attach my Swiftec H20 system without substantial modding?

Here are pictures of my current system

The MSI Big Bang mobo will be a socket LGA-1156

I have the Antec 900 Two case, and i have the Sapphire 5870 in it.

there is about 1.25"-ish of room before the plastic shroud on the 5870 touches the nearest obstacle in front of it. The piece is just a division to separate the airflow from the front fans.

Sorry for camera phone pic, if you need better let me know.

I wouldn't be considering the Hydra anymore unless you want to wait till Q1 2010. Yeah the Big Bang got delayed.

Thanks for the pics Rpmucha23!

No not considering the hydra anymore... now I am considering a good mobo that I can go trifire with, however the mobo has to fit an lga 775 socket and use my ddr2 1066 ram, cause I dont wanna rebuy ram and a processor
