Hi. I was told to try this place for help on widescreen gaming. I have a 1440x900 monitor, but if there's one common thing that happens when I'm playing a game, is that it doesn't have a proper set resolution size for my monitor. My monitor does good and reduces lag with 800x600, and is full size when at 1440x900, but usually, most games I play have this resolution pre-set (I forgot what it's called) that makes it where a little (yet decent, but not majority) bit of the the left side of the screen is off-screen.
Now, in most games, this can easily be fixed my going into options and changing it, but in Dragonica, it's impossible. Thus, making it where I have to play in windowed mode. It doesn't bother me too much, but it does kinda get annoying (since I'm use to playing in full screen), and I'm afraid it might be causing a little more lag.
I can't find anything by googling, except for this one program, called res-o-changer, but I don't know how to get it to work on the actual game client. I can only get it to work on the patcher, which doesn't change the in-game res size.
I also remember this one program I used once on Maplestory that made it where in windowed mode, the window stretched across the screen. I could run it in the background while I played. I forgot what it was called. I keep remembering it to have a X somewhere in it's name, but I might be wrong. The only program I can think of that has a X in it, is DirectX, but that isn't the program I'm trying to remember.
So, is there anyway to solve this? Any program that no one has mentioned and/or I can't find?
