I'll be testing out how 4x1920x1200 works soon. I currently have 4x Samsung 245BW and I just purchased 2x DDH2G from newegg. I'll post more to this thread soon to explain how things go with the experiment. :D

I put in for 3 day shipping on the DDH2G but it's holidays so it might be a week before I see those. I'll be able to try out 4x 245BW on Warhammer Online though using the frameless windowed mode though before I get the 2x DDH2G though.

I don't have the 2 outer screens hooked up yet:

Makes me wish display rotation worked with the Matrox boxes. It wouldn't be so bad on rotated. 4800x1920 would be pretty nice. I can dream I guess.

I guess I can try 2x2 and 4x1 setups both.

Small holdup on the test. Got 1 LCD that is bad and am putting in for warrenty exchange. I hope that doesn't take too long. Last time I did a warrenty exchange it went off just fine but it took 3 weeks to process. Depending on how long it takes for Samsung to turn around the LCD I might just use the defective LCD for a bit. The red is screwing up on the LCD but it works.

um... how can you get 4x1920x1200?

max is 5040x1050?

also no point doing 2x1920x1200 x2 cos 99% of games won't let you stretch it all the way across and u'll only be able to fullscreen using 2 monitors which won't be any good...

edit: ok i read another post and some other guys shown lodr running with 2xth2go but i still question how many games will support that high res...

The max for TRIPLEhead2go is 5040x1050. I'm using 2 DUALhead2go and horizontal-span. Any game that surround gaming works in will be just fine with this setup too.

UPS arrived about an hour ago. I'm up and running with the latest december version of the Matrox installer. It worked just fine with 2 DH2G. Technically, I didn't have to install any software, but I wanted the Powerdesk SE for the 4 display divider on the desktop. That's working fine too. Windows XP detected 3840x1200 on both boxes after I initially plugged them in without issue. The nVidia control panel has no problem horizontal-spanning the 2x 3840x1200 either. I like the USB power vs my old analog TH2G which had an external power supply. So far Warhammer Online and Eve Online work perfectly at 7680x1200. Those are the 2 main games I play, so all is good. :D

2x DDH2G:

Warhammer Online 7680x1200:

Eve Online 7680x1200:

The bad 245BW...back to Samsung with this one:

Looks very cool, how is it with the divider right down the centre of the screen?

A bit destracting but bearable. Games like Eve it won't matter much in. Warhammer Online might be a bit of a headache though. I've tuned it out after awhile. It's a bit more to tune out than the triplehead bezels though.

It's great in Eve. Notice in my screenshot I have the market, contracts, skills and certs windows all open without any real problems. It's a lot of GUI space. Eve is natorious for having a cluttered GUI. I'm glad to see it working so well.
