Hey all,

I have just set up my 3x24" Dells on the TH2Go. Everything is all good at 5040x1050 apart from one little thing. When I activate bezel management not only does the outer edges of the displayed image move in but on one monitor (left one) the displayed image moves in a few pixels on the edge next to the centre monitor. Not only that but at the edge the image (a few pixels) is warped like looking through a bit of water. This is real obvious using the GXM bezel management line- they bend at the end inwards. The centre line is straight, the top line droops and the bottom line perks up...like it is pinched. It doesn't do this at the equivalent side of the other monitor.
Now I have played with the OSD settings but nothing changes. Weirdly the OSD shows that the displays are using 1680x1024 not 1050!

Has anyone got the foggiest idea what is causing that? Or even better how to stop it :)

Cheers
M1.9P

EDIT: that is both outer monitors are showing x1024 on the OSD, the centre monitor doesn't display res on OSD.
Also when I swap the left and right monitors it still does the same thing...which seems to suggest a TH2Go error

I don't usually use bezel management but I just took a look ...
It happens on mine too ... as I move it in at about 70 pixels there is a little jump as a thin line of black appears on the right hand side of left monitor and the warped pixels appear.
The wider the bezel management the wider the warped area is but the thin line of black stays about the same or gets smaller (it's hard to tell).

I have no idea how to fix it ... it does look like a TH2Go error ... :(

OK thanks for that Paddy, I will drop a line to Matrox about it.

So do you use something else to get rid of the bezels or just live with the odd effect of having them in?

Matrox also replied to this error and say they are 'trying to reproduce it so they can fix it'. If anybody in the US/Canada is getting this can they call Matrox on the phone and let them remotely access your PC to see it?
It is about 1 to 3am when I manage to talk to Matrox when I try!

HI! No, no reply just 'we are working on it'. I have moved on to EyeFinity, which doesn't have the problem and has higher res's

ps: I am not really a 'simmer' but was a 'real-lifer' now a 'FPSer' ;)

Thanks for the reply....... I actually tried Nvidia's 2d surround first, but it kept crashing so thats why I opted for the TH2GO. I'm sure once I upgrade my PC (sometime next year) that the Nvidia crashes will disappear, but in the meantime I'll have to stick with TH2GO and its weird bezel management problem!!

I'm an ex RNZAF real-lifer turned ATC-er!! (And part-time simmer)...... :cheers

Cheers,
Mat
