Oh man, memories. That truly was a great game. I've yet to see another that's given as good an experience with lightsabers as JK2 has. Prove me wrong, Unleashed?

I should have downloaded the demo, damnit. I can't beleive I wasted $30.

Well, I have played about 3-4 stages into FEAR, and I gotta say it is so darn BORING. It is just run'n'gun over and over again. Does it change? I mean, its predictable too.

So far:

1 Story line cinematic
2 A few corridors
3 room with bad dudes
4 shoot bad dudes
5 collect ammo and health
6 a few corridors
7 spooky scenes
8 go down useless paths to get powerups
Goto step 3
3 room with bad dudes
4 shoot bad dudes

9 Next loadup - level

RINSE AND REPEAT

Does it change?

Does anyone know if I can sell a Direct2Drive game? Or even pass it on for free?

Tron2.0 had great potential, but it's sp was quite a let down. The only arena event was light cycle racing and some of them were so frustrating they made them optional. It's as if they were admitting the camera angles could not keep up with the cycles well enough to make it a pleasant experience. It's a mere skeleton of the great movie. I so wanted Disc, Jai alai and maybe even Jousting events.

As far as I'm aware, once you've got a D2D game, it's yours 'for life' kinda thing. No refunds, no passing it on... etc etc. And no, FEAR doesn't really get a lot better. There are some good bits in it, but most of it's acclaim came from it's system-murdering requirements (graphics) and the AI. Still, if you can persevere, you'll encounter singly the most scary/annoying enemies in any game ever - stealth-tech-ninja-dude-things.

infernus - Force Unleashed looks promising, but I'm honestly not going to hold my breath after how poor everything Lucas did post-JK2 was. Although to be fair, Jedi Academy wasn't awful... merely badly orchestrated.

I think I am going to have to buy Crysis after all. Was hoping to play this when I upgraded next.

Its either that or HalfLife 2 Episodes. But I already had a taste of that, and it was good mind you.

Im waiting for next gen video cards before i pick that up, it doesnt look very good without DX10, and with DX10 on my current card it chugs.
