After many months of trying to get 5040x1050 resolution to work consistently with Vista, I am going to stay with 4320x900 which it seems to like a lot better. What is driving ME CRAZY is that the Bezel Management lines (line up) centered on the center montor when at 5040x1050 but at 4320x900 the adjustment lines center 2/3 of the way to the right side of the center monitor. How do I move the adjustment lines to cross at the center of my center monitor? bezel management works fine just will not center. Any HELP would be greatly appreciated.....

the problem is not the triplehead, it's your monitors. You monitors are "off" when it scales the image. So you will have to mess with your alignment monitor side. It can't be that off though, unless you are using 16:9 monitors instead of 16:10.

Strange issue though. :? BM settings should be independent for each resolution, so the lines should get centered no matter what.
Does 1440x900 look funny on your monitors (letterboxed, distorted...) ?
Are you using the latest GXM ?
Did you try unchecking/checking the Use BM box ?

thank you for your replies,

yes-I have checked and unchecked the BM box with no change seen

no- their is no distortion of the window at all-all looks normal

any and all changes made in nvidia control panel seem to make no difference to correct the scaling. I never see 5040 in bezel management only 4030 total and the bezel management lines cross at 2520. If I go to nvidia control panel is states resolution at 5040x1050 using my display's built in scaling.

really need help, thank you

After updating my nvidia driver to 1.9107 and updating Powerdesk to ver: 2.05 (After reading other posts-thank you-ALL FOR YOUR INPUT) I can get 5040 resolution very consistently and looks very nice. ALTHOUGH I STILL have the bezel management issue. It will not center on my center monitor and it only shows 4030 total pixels on top pixel counter and crosses at 2520 on the center monitor which is located 3/4 of the way to the right hand side of the monitor. What do need to do ? ? ? am I correct in thinking that this is not a dell monitor driver issue as long as I am using a Matrox Triplehead2go GXM and drivers?

Hi all,

e-mail from Matrox Graphics :

Hi Patrick,

Win7 is not yet properly supported by the software.

A new win7 compliant release should be out within a week or so.

Keep an eye on the driver download page to obtain the new version once it is out.

Regards,
