Here's some progress on the interface.

I'm still trying to keep it clean, small, and minimal while still providing extra functionality.

Currently I have two projects for different MSVS versions, one built with MSVS2005 (.NET 2.0), and one built with MSVS2010b2 (.NET 4.0b2). The screenshots shown are built with MSVS2010b2.

I wish Steam would leave a sticky message every time a game was patched; I didn't know there was an update. I'll work on it. :)

Actually, did you test it, or did you just ask for an update without testing it?

My game is v1.0.172 and the v1.0.168 fix still works for it just fine.

Unless there is something newer than v1.0.172 at the moment, I don't know what to say.

Yeah normally you can subscribe to the updates RSS feed... If only IW would care enough to actually provide update notes though.

I might have a beta version of my new Widescreen Fixer out in a day or two with just support for Wolfenstein. It's coming along nicely and I'm liking the way this is turning out.

My bad Dopefish, it does still work. I tried earlier and screen did not adjust, and once I saw the version I just assumed.......... I went back later and it works fine. Thanks again. Without this I could not play most of the games I do. :bowdown :bowdown

Okay, if anyone has Wolfenstein and the .NET 4.0 Beta 2 framework installed, feel free to give this a shot:

Widescreen Fixer 2.0 Beta

All the settings are disabled for now.
Everything on the About page should work fine.
The game selection list should only have Wolfenstein in it.
Use Numpad * to enable/disable.

Let me know how the application feels, responds, etc.
Also feedback on the direction I'm taking it and/or how you'd like it to turn out would be appreciated.

Edit:
Here's a link to download the .NET 4.0 Beta 2 framework.

I don't have that game installed at the moment, I can try something else though... I see that you are busy playing MW2 tho so maybe someone else will pick it up :)
