Just announced for the holiday season.

Just watched the video.......looks like they're keeping everything in from the console, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

GOW at E3

This was the one game that had me on the verge of buying a console. Surely it'll be DX10, consequently a lot of eye candy!

Some good news from Gamespot for the gamers holding out on Vista;

From this short demo, we definitely got the impression that Gears on the PC will look better than its Xbox 360 counterpart, given its noticeably smoother frame rate and seemingly higher texture detail. Hoewver, Cliffy mentioned that the game would run on Windows XP as well as Windows Vista, which made us wonder if the game will support DirectX 10. Either way, we look forward to seeing more of Gears of War on the PC.

We knew this was coming, but it is nice to finally hear that it is confirmed. I had a ton of fun with GoW in co-op. Now my PC friends can see what all the fuss was about.

Truly. I still run through co-op just for the lulz.

Yeah its looks good, wonder how they will have the controls set with KB/M.

Hopefully the extra 5 chapters etc become downloadable for the 360 version aswell.

If they dont fix up shadow run, im boycoting any of these games for windows titles.

my 3 month free trial of live gold is over and over that 3 months the game has been bugged to hell and back and performing poorly. So now the only free gaming I can do for a multiplayer only game is dedicated servers...

of wich there are usually only 1-3 of them and its only 1/10 times I go to play that you can actually connect to one or its not full.

sort of off topic, sort of on topic since its about the poor quality of most console to pc ports.

I say if they cant do it right, please dont do it at all.

and for the love of god MS just let us play for free online, why make us pay for it.

This game was so good on the 360 that it made me lose interest in PC gaming; honestly, though, it doesn't seem like it would make for a good mouse & keyboard shooter. Maybe Epic (it is Epic porting it to the PC, right?) can add enough to make the game require a mouse and keyboard, but right now GoW is simple enough to NOT need them; the controls were great, the action was intense, and it was fun to play.
