Note: This is just for fun. I have no intention of transforming WSGF into TSGF , or creating a sister site, or making an addendum to the MGL, or even getting a new tallscreen-themed board added to the forum. If this becomes very popular, maybe the project will become something bigger, but I'm not counting on it.

Here's how you can contribute to this project. You'll need the following:

1: A widescreen monitor. Pivot is nice, but not necessary.
2: A graphics card and driver that supports rotation.
3: A game that is listed as "Vert -" on the MGL.
4: A screenshot tool such as FRAPS, though Alt+PrintScrn should work if you really want to use it.

First, make sure the game is listed as "Vert -" on the MGL. You can also use 2D games that are listed as "Hor +" or 3D games that require FOV editing in order to become hor +. But don't bother with 3D games that are natively hor + or anything that stretches - those will inevitably prove a waste of time.

Next, if the game has a non-native solution, you may want to apply it now. Whatever your monitor's resolution is, set the display to use the inverse of it. For example, if your native res is 1400x900, set it to 900x1400.

If the game has a native solution, run it, and set it to 640x480. If this is not offered, use the lowest possible. You do not want the horizontal resolution to exceed your monitor's vertical resolution.

Open up your driver's control panel, and set your display to portrait mode. If your monitor has pivot, you may want to use it now.

Run the game. If you didn't set the tallscreen resolution manually, the game should be running in landscape mode. Go into the video options menu and see if the max resolution available is your tallscreen res. If so, set it. If not, see if you can find a way to enable it manually.

Once you have the game running in tallscreen, find a good place to take a picture, take one, and quicksave. Then quit, set your monitor back to landscape, run the game at a 4:3 resolution, quickload, and take another picture.

Check the pictures to make sure they're from the same spot, then resize them, upload them somewhere (I use imageshack), and post them here.

I did some research on worms armageddon, it was just native but it stutters the gameplay.

I do know Hitman could do it

Guild Wars.

The FOV isn't right in tallscreen, some Hor-.

Had to logout and in about 5 times to get the pictures almost the same. Guild Wars just randomly starts you in a certain spot in a city/town and I couldn't change the resolution to a tallscreen one while playing and vice versa. This was the closet I got, but you get the idea. :P

Far Cry.

This game had some clipping issues in Tallscreen, also the FOV is a little off.

Here's how you can contribute to this project. You'll need the following:
1: Blah blah blah
2: Blah blah blah
3: A game that is listed as "Vert -" on the MGL.
4: Blah blah blah

P-Storm and Apple tallscreen isn't applicable with CSS because that game is Hor+ which means the FOV is decreased by a lot when you do tallscreen, which makes for ugly screenies.

Not chewing you out just a friendly reminder.
