Read Full Detailed Report - Spider-Man 3

Spider-Man 3 is an action game loosely based on the Spider-Man 3 film and released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Wii, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, Microsoft Windows and Game Boy Advance. The game's plot expands on the film by including additional characters and elements from the Spider-Man comics and the Marvel Universe. Depending on the platform, different villains from the comics are featured, but all versions of the game feature the film's main villains: Venom, New Goblin, and Sandman.

Impressive; are you becoming seasick while swining through the streets?

It runs OK ... the game is caped at 30fps anyway ... ... it seems smooth enough with my 360 controller but a bit choppy with my keyboard and mouse.

Seasick ? ... no it is great fun ...

Activision says the city is 2.5 times bigger than the one in Spider-Man 2 ... with 20 miles of subways and sewers, and a number of buildings that you can enter.
An interactive map allows you to rotate and zoom a fully 3D map of the city ...
There are 42 missions ... 10 different story lines ... 9 not from the movie ...
There are also random events such as hurt cops and gang fights that pop up as you swing around the city ...
There are ... races and skydiving challenges ... really hard ...
Also many ... gang tokens ... secret tokens ... skyscraper tokens and subway tokens to find and collect.

I haven't started any story line as such but I've clocked up about 12 hours of swinging ... exploring and dealing with the odd crimes that crop up

I'm really enjoying it ...
TH made all the difference as far as I am concerned as it is so impressive swinging around with the extra peripheral view ... :D

That does look slick, if we could get Hor+ with widescreen I'd consider buying it.

Ah ok, coolness then. :)

Maybe I will rent the 360 version first, see if I like it. I liked the 2nd one so probably.

It isn't so bad as it looks/sounds in widescreen as the view is quite far back from Spidey ... it doesn't feel cut down but yeah ... knowing it is Vert- is a real turn off.
