I have 3 monitors but i'm planning to buy another two. So it is posible to use the 3 center monitors with TH2GO, and 2 sides with softTH?

Anyboy has tried it?

Should be possible... you are going to have some serious distortion on the far side screens, though, because of rectangular viewports.

Consider the monitors you will use - you will be pushing an extreme number of pixels and you need the proper games and hardware. Without an ATI 4x00 series or nVidia 8x00 series (or higher) the best you could do would be 4000x600 (5 x 800x600), because of the 4096-pixel limit on older hardware. With the newest GPUs you can go to 8192 pixels, giving you a practical limit of 6400x1024 (5 x 1280x1024). You could also do 7200x900 (5 x 1440x900), but that is definitely getting into the "too wide" area.

Really, three screens properly configured is wide enough, so I think more than that is unnecessary. If you do go with 5 screens, 5:4 aspect ratios on each screen would be desirable to keep the image from being too wide.

Yes it works, I did this over a year ago. Posted both here and on SoftTH forums the specifics. Did 6400x1024 with a bunch of 21" Dell CRTs I had sitting around. Google 6400x1024 should show my posts.
