45 degrees seems like an awfully low FOV... :?

Yeah ... and it feels too narrow hence I went looking for a FOV adjustment.
I think my suggestion of a FOV=70 might be a little too wide though... later on I'll play around and see if I can come up with a more suitable value.

Seems like quite a good game ... a little like the original Deus Ex although I haven't played it very far yet.

EDIT:
I played with the FOV and found 50 or 55 to good.
The graphics aren't the best out there but they are ok.
The game-play seems very good ... as I said it's a little like Deus Ex ... or may be System Shock (both excellent IMO)
One interesting aspect to the game ... amongst other things ... is that you can find data which will give you instructions and recipes, for building useful items, food or exotic weaponry.

==Game Information==

Neuro Hunter is an action RPG from Deep Silver and Media Art. You play as a computer hacker with cybernetic powers, and must survive in an underground world controlled by a mysterious entity known as "Hacker."

==Version==

This information is based on the demo, and may or may not apply to the full game.

==Method==

Natively supported. You just select your resolution from the video options menu.

==Screen change==

The game is hor +.

1024x768

1280x800

==Supported resolutions==

I tested this on my desktop, which supports resolutions up to 1280x1024. All tested resolutions worked.

Confirmed: 1280x720, 1280x768, 1280x800
Unconfirmed: 1440x900, 1680x1050, 1920x1080, and 1920x1200.

==Singleplayer anomalies==

2D screens stretch.

1024x768

1280x800

In all likelihood, the game probably has some problems that are more gameplay-hindering than this example. I believe that hacking plays a significant part of the game, and this section really should cover all "alternate gameplay modes" with flawed widescreen support, and cover how badly the flaws effect gameplay and how frequently the flawed gameplay modes are used. But the game didn't really grab my attention, and I couldn't be bothered to investigate more thorougly. The fact that it's a demo and may not represent all gameplay modes *AND* the lack of saving in the demo didn't help motivate me either.

==Multiplayer support==

As far as I know, this game is singleplayer only.

==Aspect ratio support==

The game's aspect ratio automatically matches your resolution.

1280x720

1280x800

1280x480 (2.66:1)

==HUD stretch==

The HUD stretches.

==Cut-scenes==

The cut-scenes are FMV, and they stretch.

1024x768

1280x800

==Grading==

Calculated grade: B

Major unresolved issues:
None.

Minor unresolved issues:
None.

Summary of widescreen-related flaws:
Stretched 2D screens
HUD stretch
Stretched FMVs

Cranky's coverage estimate: 99.5%
