I see a hack fix to run the detectgpu.exe, but this gives me an error in Windows XP Pro.

I currently have a 7800GT, Dell 20" wide.
The native resolution is 1680 x 1050.

The game lists 1600 x 1200 as an option, so I know this game can go wide.

Any ideas?

Firstly, I've moved this to the correct location. :)

Secondly, what hack? No hack needed. Simply delete the SWLEGO.bin file that is generated by the game, run detectgpu.exe and it should be fine... as long as you don't then change the res in game...

I have this game sitting in my CD-Wallet. Paradigm - is the detectgpu.exe file inside the lego star wars folder?

Yeah, it's just in the main game directory, wherever you installed it. :)

I took a couple of screenshots, but I can't find 'em now... guess I'll have to do 'em again...

Ah, good deal! :) I had let this one alone for a while, thinking it was stuck at 1280x1024. Time to fire this one up and let the legos fly.

I just bought a Dell 2405 and would like to run this game in WS.

I have deleted the swlego.bin and double click on detectgpu.exe, I get an error and if I retry, it crashes and asking me if I want to send a report.

I am I missing something here?

Can anyone help me?

I really could use some help please. Thanks!!!

Wow nice. Running 1680x1050 looks great on this game. And the widescreen view actually helps some of the weird camera angles that it does.

Are there any other games that use a utility like the detectgpu.exe?
