Well how large is the tradeoff in performance. Most systems can't run it at a bajillion fps at even 1024x768 so how does it run in 1680x1050?

I have a X850 XT PE and 2GB RAM.

Also for any of you, does the game sometimes stick or jerk for a second when entering completely new rooms/areas?

Hey guys I'm trying to make this work for the single player but it's not happening. Every time I start the game, the settings revert back to the lowest settings. I'm not going into the settings again for anything. Any advice?

Oh no ! ... now I'm worried ... :shock:

I tried making it read only and it still defaults back to 640x480 when I load the game after changing the file. I dunno though, some people apparently had the same problem with the demo. One site I read said something about deleting profiles.. but I haven't had any results with that yet.

Where are you from ... i.e. ... is it the UK, US or other version of the game ?

Have you tried re-doing the setting change ? ... I hear that some times it re-sets itself the first time round.

I can't get it into 1920 X 1200

Even if I read protecct the .cfg file.

That's real odd ... I am running the demo fine at 1920x1200.
As I said ... have you tried re-doing the setting change ? ... I hear that some times it re-sets itself the first time round.

Also ...
If you go into the game and choose ... Options ... Display ... it will show up as 640x480 and then re-set it's self to this res. (So don't go into this option.)

If you go into the game and choose ... Options ... Performance ... Advanced Video Card Options ... Graphics ... it should show the 1920x1200 res in there ... second from bottom.
