This game used to have 21:9 support in an older build

but they didn't leave the support in the retail version (for the most part)

as you can see some 2D elements extend beyond the 16:9 ratio

this can be seen in many places where effects like the K.O. move over most of the 21:9 area


i assume this is a similar setup as in Dark Souls III where some value is restricting the visible 3D area to a 16:9 aspect/1920x1080



if someone could help fix this that'd be appreciated by many since many are disappointed to see despite earlier evidence of this game running in 21:9 it now being gone

What a missed oppertunity, 21:9 is perfect for Tekken/fighting games.

For true 3D fighting games like Tekken and Soul Cailbur i aggree, the stage is not a 2D space and the end of the stage isn't defined by the edge of the screen but by actual walls and similar

21:9 Not so perfect for Street Fighter and similar though :p

So.. theres any way to unblock the space in the black bars? Unreal Engine is very flexible

Has anyone found a solution to this? I imagine that something inside GameUserSettings.ini can fix this

Duuuuude, you're a lifesaver. Just made this account to say that. Works perfectly. Not even sure why people still seem to think 21:9 creates an advantage in a game like this. Like THAT tiny little extra space is going to allow me to do anything. Honestly, I'm just really happy I won't have to deal with a stretched image or black bars. Perfect timing too, my fight stick comes in tomorrow.

Only problem I'd say would be that the menu's are still 16:9 and it's not exactly automated (since you have to open the trainer and activate the fixes), but not a huge deal really. What matters most I'd say is, no black bars during battle. Annnnd no black bars there is, thanks so much man.
