Hello all,
'
I've been a long time forum lurker and a 5760x1080 user for roughly 4 or 5 years ago.
Back in roughly 2012 I was at an Intel LANFest in Phoenix and participated in a Battlefield Bad Company 2 tourney. One of the users (who also won awards for his custom builds) was running in triple monitor and it blew my mind.
Roughly a year later I was running triple and never looked back.
Besides praising the triplewide love on a personal scale, I also run a business that provides casual and competitive video gaming services at events and have had the opportunity to show the love of triple monitor to the general public at big events with a racing setup running F1 20XX/BurnoutParadise/etc & a racing seat and steering wheel (Playseat & G27) as shown here:
I've also recently been recording three 1920x1080 60fps outputs and then putting them together and posting on YouTube for single monitor users to see an example of what 5760x1080 is like, and also for triple monitor users to see the game in full screen since YouTube is really limited in triple monitor content.
I started with Half Life 2.
Capturing each screen in 1920x1080 60fps via XSplit & Elgato HD60s wasn't difficult, but finding software that can output 5760x1080 is difficult.
Vegas only goes up to 4K on width (4096) and Premiere can do 5760, but the lack of support via codecs and my lack of video compression knowledge makes it difficult to output at settings that fit the YouTube max file size limit of 128GB without having videos that are only 5 minutes long.
Half Life 2 Triple Monitor Viewers 4096x768 30fps is on YouTube now and I'll be uploading in various parts with each chapter. I've gotta stay under 14 or so minutes per part to not hit the 128GB YouTube max.

In my lurking I found some who record in 5760x1080 are using ShadowPlay & Fraps and unfortunately I don't have that type of hardware in 1 PC to do it properly in that fashion.
Either way, thanks to all the program creators, administrators, and those who pass off their WSG knowledge here. Keep it up.
