Fellow :triplewide: gamers,

I have a dire issue with AC4, one that came out of nowhere and did not exist the first time around.
When I launched the game for the first time, it ran flawlessly at 5760x1080. The second time I launched the game however, only the center frame gets rendered and the outer monitors are consumed by black nothingness. The outer monitors do still receive a signal, and FRAPS renders its framerate counter on them. The game still shows that resolution, and the FPS drop compared to single screen indicates that the game is using extra horsepower to render something.

Switching surround modes, updating drivers, restarting, re installing the game, none of those have helped and I am a little frustrated. Any help is greatly appreciated, thus far I have not found a single person on the net experiencing the same issue. The worst part is that it worked at first with no setup to speak of...

Thank you very much for your time.

I am running into the same issue. The monitors are not going to sleep just black.

Please help, playing on one screen just isn't the same.

Found out how to fix the issue.

I had to uninstall the 14.9 AMD Catalystâ„¢ Driver

Install the 13.12 AMD Catalystâ„¢ Driver and the game works like a charm.

That's a far roll-back. What about other 14.x releases?
