Hi, I've bought Lenovo notebook with the Intel+nVidia combination.
It uses Intel HD4600 normally and GT740M for gaming.
I tried to attach another monitor to it and it worked flawlessly.
The problem begins, when I want to use both the monitor and built-in screen at the same time (expanded desktop).
It works well with windowed apps, but I can't manage to run e.g. games like Team Fortress 2 or OpenTTD (fullscreen). Even when I force them to launch in resolution like 1366x1536 or 2732x768, they just appear on main monitor in their default res. Can I force them to show fullscreen in one of those resolutions?

Hi, have you set the extended monitor as the primary display when trying to game on this?

Have you got Nvidia Optimus installed and setup correctly?

I found that I often yielded better results using the Nvidia control panel to manage additional monitors rather than Windows display settings.
