I'm about to, sometime this week-end. Browsing existing threads about camera/FOV on the official forum is taking a while...

Fingers crossed, things are looking up:

We are now testing fixed vertical FOV and so far it looks great. If no concerns arise, it should be in the next update.
Hopefully I'll have an entire DR to re-do before long, yay

Today's patch makes the FOV Hor+, DR updated.

I had a quick look at the forums, and it appears that the game is in quite an early stage, so it probably isn't high on their list of things. I'm pretty sure these guys had a kickstarter? And I can't remember if it was successful or not. Game looks cool, but obviously a long ways to go.

KS campaign tanked and was cancelled: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/147 ... h-attitude
But it was of no consequence because development was well under way and pre-orders went on steadily; by KS standards the game is ~150% funded by now ! The finished game will be released next Spring, so not a long way away. ;)

It's amusing to see 16:10 picked as the baseline for both the 2D (loading screen design) and FOV (16:10 was unchanged by the Vert- to Hor+ conversion) in Bugbear's first publisher-free project, after a legacy of either "narrow" or "HD" games (the FlatOuts vs. RR Unbounded). At the moment it means overall support is a bit flawed, but it's refreshing nonetheless. Kinda restores my faith in both humanity and indie game development.
