Hello everyone. I have always had 2 monitors and yesterday I said F IT and decided to get a 3rd. Still waiting on my active DP to arrive so I can test this setup out.

I have wanted to try eyefinity for a lonnnnggg time but never had the balls to go for it.

I play mostly Battlefield 3, other FPS and racing/flying games. All those should be great for my set up.

Running 3x AOC 23" 1080p LED Monitors.
CPU- Phenom ii x4 BE @ 4.0Ghz
Ram- 8 GB DDR3 G Skill
GPU- Radeon 6950 2 gb Factory OC'd.

Does anyone know how this thing will handle games like bf3 or dirt 3? I am a little concerned that there may not be enough gpu power there.

:Welcome

It was a good decision to buy a third monitor!

and don't worry about the performance! you can most of the time lower the Settings and AA to get better FPS.

I got simmilar setup to yours,
Dirt 3 should run on highest details without AA without any problems. Same for BF3 - aldo here you might go lower on SSAO etc just to adjust framerates to your likeing.

Really? That is good to hear. Just got the third monitor up and running cant wait to try this bad boy out. Do you guys usually use bezel comp?

Edit: played around and got some great results. BF3 had to be put to medium to run at 30+ fps :/ .

I noticed bf has REALLY bad fish eye on the side monitors. Bugs the crap out of me, is there any way to fix it I didnt see anything on the site here.

I always use bezel comp yes, it drives me crazy not to.

I run a similar setup and it does fine. BF3 on medium is still very good graphically.

The fisheye effect is normal for having a large FOV. It is because there is only one camera eyepoint, you'll experience it in nearly every game. Because your side monitors are for peripheral vision only, don't be too concerned by it. It'll only annoy you if you concentrate on it, but once you start getting into the game, you should be spending most of your time looking at the centre screen and glancing at the side screens.

Welcome to the forums.

Ah I never thought of the view as being a camera. Just sucks on bf because games like dirt and crysis are far less stretched.
