I also could not find this thread for the last few days and I thought it was gone. I finally did a searech and found it again. Add me to one who is patiently waiting for the next HayDen fix.
I second the suggestion that a link to this new location be put at the old one as many of us has posted that link on various forums as a suggested place to look for a solution.
Thanks for the update.

Hopefully Thales has alerted Hayden to the threads new location. It is a bit tricky to find without a redirect from its old location.

@Hellifax, dude I can't get your fix to work at all very well, I'm running eyefinity at 5040(5292 bez com) and the centre screen blurs out when I bring up the inventory but no inventory can be seen, the inventory is there, I can blindly scroll thru it and select random things, just can't see it. Auto detection certainly doesn't work, what manual entries should I be sticking in there for 5292 x 1050(base 5040). Auto seems to put in 5292x1050 in both corrected and uncorrected fields.

If I press the enable hotfix key repeatedly, the UI occasionally appears on the wrong screen or really compressed or disappears again.

Thanks for your efforts lads.

Dude, If you read a couple of pages back;)) you will see that AUTODECT works only for NV Surround... Which obviously you dont have:)) So try to manually config the pluging:) Basically standard resolution is 5040x1050 and corrected it 5292x1050...Not hard yes? :)) I think it is better to wait for Haydens fix anyway:) Since it works and most of the people who were interested in the fix got it working;)) So no loss there;))

Best Regards,
Helifax

I found this moved thread in about 3 minutes, I'm sure Hayden can get here pretty quickly. lol

Unfortunately I've had things going on and haven't been able to play this game (or any game) in over a month or so. Does anyone know if they released the Developer kit yet?

Ahhh, nevermind, I found it. :)

Hey Helifax, thanks for posting your fix!

Sorry this thread is long.

Ahhh never mind, I was being a n00b, the autodetect or myself must have inserted 1080 in the height fields at some point, I never noticed it as I was more concerned with the width. So I had 5040 x 1080 and 5292 x 1080 in the fields, obviously I should have had 5292 x 1050 etc in there.

Keep up the good work Hellifax, I know everyone is looking for Haydens fix but yours is the only one working at the moment and that is appreciated.

Hopefully that'll be an end to the patches until the DLC start arriving and you gents can have a break for a while (and concentrate on Mass Effect 3 ;) hehe )

I tried to use widescreen fixer today with the Helifax solution and got the following error message on startup:

Plugin.The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim.dll, API Version: 2.0
Required API Version: 2.1

The application will now exit.

So I am unable to use the fix, is anyone else getting this? Hopefully we'll have working fixes again soon from both HaYDeN and Helifax :)

It took some work but I finally got mine working again. I have so many hacks and edits now I'm not sure whether HaYDen's patch will help or push my install over the edge. lol

Has anyone been in contact with HayDEn. Is there hope for a new updated fix?

I hope so, as of right now I can't play in Eyefinity at all... since Helifax solution is aparently not compatible with the new Widescreenfixer version. (at least thats what I got from that error message).

Here's to hoping I can play Skyrim this weekend!

I really hope we will see an update from HaYdeN. Want to play the game again and finally end the quest line.

I doubt we will ever get an official fix from Bethesda, though :(
