I really hope Hayden will provide a problem free solution! as I am waiting for it also;)) But until then if you want to play Mass Effect 2 in Eyefinity this is the only way! Let me know if you want to try and fix Mass Effect 1 also;)
Best Regards,
Helifax
Again thanks a lot !
I will test the fix this week-end.
It would be amazing to have a solution for Mass Effect 1 too
I tested the fix. There are some things that are hard to live with:
- no crosshair (missing every enemy because of this), any tips for AMD users?
- the left analog stick doesn't work correctly in the menu's
I realy like the fact that triple screens works though. This game is very lite and a single card high end card can run this game no problem.
Use the steam version by the way, so both versions seem to work.
Hi,
Glad it did work:D I will look for a way to put the crosshair back on;)) The problem is alligning it correctly.
For the xbox 360 controller part is not my fault.. that is the hidden functionality that made it to the PC version from the Xbox version, I just re-enabled it:D
But I am glad that it works for you and you like how it looks;)) I will look some more into the fix to see how I can make it better (crosshair and normal pc command hopefully;)))
Best Regards,
Helifax

Hehe...Far from it:))) I can understand a little;)) Still learning it ;))
Preparing a new version:) that will have the following improvements:
- Reticle will be enabled and correctly placed! (still a small ingame workaround to place it correctly)
- Ability to autodetect for nVidia Surround and support for 2-1001 monitors;))
- Fov is now calculated. That mean no more the same fov in cutscenes/game/sniper mode etc;)) Everything is working as intended
To be done:
- Fix location of buttons when using keyboard+mouse (this proves to be extremely difficult)

- Reticle is enabled and correctly placed! (To place it correctly swap to the Grenade Launcher or Sniper Rifle. This will enable the reticle to be correctly placed)
- Ability to autodetect for nVidia Surround and support for multiple monitors;)) (Eyefinity users need to configure the plugin)
- Fov is now calculated. That mean no more the same fov in cutscenes/game/sniper mode etc;)) Everything is working as intended. No need to manually change the fov.
- Support only for xbox 360 controller. This link provides useful information: http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/106/index/1375781/1
To be done:
- Keyboard and mouse are still no go!
Big thanks Dopefish for all the info and support that you provided me with!!
How-To:
1. Download the Coalesced.ini file and place it in Mass Effect 2BioGameConfigPCCooked.
2. Download this plug-in and put in "Plugins" folder of WideScreen Fixer.
3. Config the plugin. (use the little cog)
4. Start the game, enable the fix and enjoy.
Best Regard,
Helifax
