Hello,
I'm new to these forums, and I have a few questions about choosing the right adapter for my eyefinity setup.
My monitors and graphical card:
-SAPPHIRE HD 5970
Link to website with specs of this graphical card.
2 x Dual-Link DVI
1 x Mini-DisplayPort
-2x Acer V243HAObd
Link to website with full specs of this monitor.
-1x Acer V243HLAObmd
Link to website with fullspecs of this monitor.
(they all have a resolution of 1920 x 1080)
So, my plan is to make an eyefinity setup using these 3 monitors.
My question is this:
Will eyefinity work if I use
this adapter on one of these monitors?
I wasn't sure about this because it is a single-link DVI output. Does it matter if it is dual-link or single-link, and what is the difference?
If the adapter works, what kind of DVI cable to link one of the monitors to the adapter above should I buy, a single-link or dual-link DVI cable?
I hope someone can answer my questions, thank you very much for your time.
