Is it possible to enable or fix widescreen support in this game?
This game would be beautiful in widescreen but unfortunately it's not a display option.

Here's a link to the demo:
ftp://ftp.infogrames.net/demos/deer_hunter_2005/DH2005DemoInstall.exe

Thanks so much!
Zak

I will install the full version later tonight and take a look; I bought it back when it came out, but it wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. If I find any way to use widescreen resolutions, I will post back here.

That's great, Thanks!

I took a look at the log file and it says using 1600x1200x32 in fullscreen mode. Does this mean that a widescreen option might be available?

It doesnt look good, back in 2006 forum user sMashPiranha tried to hex edit the config file, setting it to 1920x1200, but game refused to run at this resolution, starting up at 1600x1200.

Some games may refuse to run at different resolutions than the developers have added native support, or run but with major flaws, making it unplayable, unfortunaltely it seems to be the problem with DH2005.
