I have 3 VGA monitors 19' 1280x1024px only VGA connection.
On first idea you can see how I was stupid and haven't chose right adapter.
The second idea is my current hope that I enable eyefinity.
The GPU I almoust ordered this morning but I hopefully did some googling and found problem.
The First problem is: Will on 6870/6950 work both DVI outputs using DVI to VGA adapter because of some DVI-I and DVI-D (not so familiar with it)
so that I hook up 2 VGA monitor's is it possible ?.
The Adapter I can't find in my country and in UK is also hard to find Active miniDP/DP adapter to VGA that 100% work. I found from USA that ACCELL one and that one is on AMD site listed as GOLD adapter.
The manual (see atachment) from Sapphire site: Link to GPU HD6870 on download there is manual witch i will also attach.
So is it possible to use Two DVI with two DVI>VGA so I can connect two VGA monitor's ?
And is there some Active adapters that work 100% in UK ?
"So is it possible to use Two DVI with two DVI>VGA so I can connect two VGA monitor's"
No, you see one of the dvi ports is dvi-i (supports vga) and one is dvi-d (digital only, no vga support at all)
yes its ridiculous how much did they save, 5cents ?
your solution is 1 monitor on the dvi-i port and 2 monitors on displayport via active displayport to vga adapters
I have the saphire adapter (but the dp to dvi version) and its been great
I have also heard good things about the saphire dp to vga adapter (infact they are supposed to be even better)
edit: the saphire adaters seem hard to find in the u.k I believe apple make an adater and they work (but dont take my word for it)
dixons have them for about £20

I don't know why AMD didn't make both of DVI's with I version. It is just 5 pins more.
Now I know that I will need to use miniDP/DP >> VGA active.
But what about HD7xxx maybe they will support 2xDVI-I and I will have to digg somewere the active adapter.
Thank you very much to your response Davros. seems like no one want to hear or see when thay noticed that I am using 3 VGA "oldfashion" Monitors.
To all if u know where I can buy any AcTIVE miniDP/DP adapter in UK (wieson, accell, sapphire, powercolor, etc) that work please leave link response.
I'm using HP dp to vga costs 30 eur in my country and my 5970 paired with 5850 is doing awesome job when runing tripple screen also having one 460gtx for PPU card when playing batman in 5760x1080 :D ill never go to green camp never
mini-dp to dp dont need to be active i dont think there is such a thing its just changing the size of the plug its not converting a signal or anything

you know why that is, the u.k (and possibly e.u) have a tax on monitors with a digital connection

Pretty sure having 2 DVI-I ports would require 2 separate RAMDACS, which would take up PCB space and add cost. That and their "partners" make money off each adaptor sold. Go figure ;)
What country are you from ?
I saw that there is in my country a converter HP DP>VGA and cost 30eu. So is it working nice ? no flickering or going to blank after playing games for longer period of time ?
I am 99% sure you could pick an adaptor up at Amazon (UK) and have it posted to you. If you spend more than £25, and the item/ items have "Eligible for super saver delivery in the UK" chances are you get it posted for free. Just got a Bluetooth headset and a DVD for like £28 and free postage. It's ace. It even works from your local card, so you are debited in "local" currency from your account.
I found solution 3 months ago so I decided to answer if someone have same problem.
I fix it by buying eyefinity 6 card with 2 DVI and 4 Display ports. I used one DVI-I (with DVI>VGA) to my center monitor and
Side monitors (2 & 3) are connected with HP DP>VGA adapters. And it works. Picture in attachment
ah yes the card is ASUS HD6950 2GB GDDR5 DirectCUII
