I was suggested to use Powerdesk to split my one large resolution into 3 so that it's easier for me to manage instead of one giant resolution. I installed the latest version and when I go to desktop management, it says that I have no matrox hardware detected. Any clues on how to fix this?

If your not using a Matrox TH2G product then you can ignore that bit, you don't want Powerdesk to manage your resolution you want it to manage your desktop. In which case you don't need to run the wizard, instead, setup your resolution via your display drivers (in this case NVidia control panel) and then configure Powerdesk to how you like to use it with your monitor settings.

By default, fullscreening will fullscreen to one monitor
CTRL fullscreen will fullscreen to ALL monitors (including extended monitors)
Shift fullscreen will fullscreen to your multi monitor area.

I've already set up my monitors for Nvidia Surround, and installed powerdesk, but I can't get into desktop management because it says I have no matrox hardware installed. Not sure where to go from there.

Are you trying to open powerdesk via right clicking the desktop? For me all I did was download, install, skipped the wizard, then right click the desktop and launched powerdesk from there.

That said I'm not running the latest version, so maybe they are blocking it now.

I tried an older version with no luck and yes opening it from my desktop yields the same problem.

Odd, did you just install powerdesk? If so, try installing the drivers for the Triple Head 2 Go as well.

Go to their site, make sure you select TripleHead2Go Analog, then OS, and should get the software I have been using for a year now...

I have Win7x64 so:

v64_gxm_2_07_00_031_whql.exe
http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/support/drivers/download/?id=386

32 bit:
http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/support/drivers/download/?id=384

Good luck!
