Hi there.
I'm running Flawless on V 1.2 of the UK Retail edition of the Witcher 2.
My OS is Windows 7 x64 and I have a pair of nVidia GTX 480s running at 6080 x 1080.
I ran an activated Flawless before starting the game, but rather than removing the vertical bars in cutscenes I just get weird red flashes everywhere instead.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,
Dan

:)

You'll need to tick the Nvidia workaround option.

The way they implemented it for nvidia surround is a bit odd.

Hi, HaYDeN,
Thanks for the speedy reply! :)

The nVidia workaround was already ticked.
I am using the latest drivers btw.

I get these messages in the status window...

Game Detected: True
Detected Resolution: 160x27
Original Aspect: 1.7778
New Aspect: 5.9259

...does that help? (Probably not...)

Hey!

Here is how I do it (playing the game in 3D Surround..where possible):

- Start the game.
- Load the launcher and select "nvidia workaround" and enable the hack.
- Alt+tab to game then alt+tab out.
- Now select "Remove H + V" bars
- Alt tab to game and play.

It seems they did modify something from 1.1 to 1.2
PS: Ocasionaly you will get a red bar or resize of the window for like 1 sec or so. But the frequency is now very less (in the latest edition of flawless).

Hope this helps. If now let us know it;))

I'm having a problem. I'm running 2x gtx 465's and I used the flawless widescreen to get 2d surround vision to work. The performance I'm getting isn't that great, so I want to go back to 1920x1080. The problem is that I can't... I set the resolution to 1920x1080 in the launcher, but it still loads in 5760x1080. I'm not running the flawless widescreen .exe anymore. I even uninstalled and reinstalled The Witcher 2 but it still always loads in 5760x1080 even though I have it set to 1920.

Anyone else with a similar problem?

Welcome to their poor implementation...

A couple of people have asked me if I make changes anywhere else - no I do not, if you are not running flawlessws it has absolutely no lasting effects.

Do you know where resolution settings are stored? I don't see them in any of the bin/config files.

[quote][quote]I tried using the newest version with my Retail version using eyefinity+crossfire but non of the fixes have any effect...still the two side screens are black. Any ideas?

Are you running flawlessws as admin and you have exe and plugin files in the same folder (not both in desktop or in a folder that has other files)

This is working just fine aside white dots and lightbug. 1.2 retail with 1.2 fix

You are ASUM HaYDeN :rockout

Ya I'm running the tool in its own folder with the plugin button, running as admin, and I tried enabling it before and after I lunch the game, but no effect either way. The tool says it found the process and has changed the FOV, but the two side screens are still black....

HaYDen? Any ideas?
