Mainly CCC improvements. Going to install and see the new Display Management Controls + Eyefinity setup. I'll update my post with my experience once I've installed them.

Changelog:

AMD Catalyst™ Driver 11.4 early Preview Features:

· Delivers performance enhancements for the AMD Radeon™ HD 6000 Series & Windows 7.
· Includes enhancements to the AMD Catalyst Control Center™
o New task based Display Management controls
§ Simplifies the configuration of displays and display settings
o New Eyefinity setup group
§ Setting up an Eyefinity group has never been easier
o New branding (based on system configuration)
§ AMD based platform – AMD VISION Engine Control Center
§ Discrete AMD GPU with Intel CPU – AMD Catalyst Control Center™
o AMD Catalyst update notification (found within the Information Center)
§ Please note this functionality is not yet enabled, but will be in a future AMD Catalyst release
§ This feature will be used to notify users that new AMD Catalyst software packages are available

· Fixed cases where Dragon Age 2 would hang in DirectX11 on ATI Radeon™ HD 5800 Series products.

I'm curious just what they mean by "setting up an Eyefinity group has never been easier"? Wonder if 5x1P detection is fixed.

The GUI and steps for Eyefinity setup (and monitor rotation) are much clearer and simpler. I will be doing a video soon.

I can bet there is no any updates with bezel management issue for the monitors from the different manufacturers, it's simply ignored since CCC 10.3 and working for the identical monitors only.

I'm not too anxious to hose up my 5x1P right now when I got it working good. Anyone confirm these drivers properly detect 5x1P yet?

Setting up eyefinity is allot easier now, it used to be a shell game trying to align the monitors left to right, as well, i'm not sure how many others are using an AMD based board/chipset but the vision, CPU power & performance profiles should have been looked at long ago, one of the reasons i went back to AMD/ATi was the integration factor, this is an evolution of that integration. i'm looking forward to the next few cat. drivers to fully realize the fusion/vision implementation, now that Bulldozer has been confirmed to work with AM3, AMD/ATi combo is looking better then ever.

Now if more game companies would make multi core processor enabled game code..
