I'm buying another cable from monoprice so I was wondering if I should pick up an active mini-displayport to DVI adapter while I'm at it.

I'm planning on using eyefinity.

What do you think? Will it work, or will I run into issues with it?

All Days Questions about Displayport adapters :-(

There are so many Dongles out there and the most of them are NOT shure NOT work with Eyefinity setup !!!!

you need this or hte Dongles from XFX or Powercolor or ...:

http://support.amd.com/us/eyefinity/Pages/eyefinity-dongles.aspx

the rest of this Dongles are for normal Displayconection like Notebook > Display

to get an Display in Eyefinity Setup in HD or Full HD or res. higher than 1980 like 5760x1080 you need this Active Adapter´s . The new one don´t need a Powercable they get it from USB ,so they shows like a normal Diplay-Dongle without the Powercable but they wasn´t
