I have added some updated benchmarks of the 6800 and 6900 series cards, focusing on more modern and/or DX11 titles such as:
* AvP
* F1 2010
* Heaven v2
* Just Cause 2
* Mafia II

Nice benchmarks, thanks. Unless I missed it somewhere in the article, in the future could you also post the settings used when benchmarking each game? Ex. Texture quality, AA, AF, vsync, etc.

This would make it more useful for new people who are researching eyefinity and want to see what cards they need to purchase to play games at certain frames with certain settings.

Thanks for the compliment. Sorry for not noting it in this last article. Unless otherwise noted, all testing on the WSGF is dome at max quality settings with 4x/16x.

Very nice review. WSGF and [H] are pretty much where it's at for multimonitor benches.

Interesting though that the 6990 was slightly faster than the 6970 xfire on here, but it's the opposite on [H].

Thanks. I fixed that. I'm also loading tables with the major values. Will help to show the performance difference between the HD 6990 and comparable SKUs.

So unless i misunderstood those graphs there is really only a minimal FPS Difference in 5870 E6's and the 6990 in 5x1... if so i am depressed now. lol

Pushing 5x1-P is an intense undertaking. The raw number of fps increase is small in some cases, but the % increase is often substantial. You've got to remember that this is all done at max settings.

The 6990 is great for 5x1. What kind of performance were you expecting? What games were you looking at?
