Does Nv require identical monitors like eyefinity?

Surround 2D requires 3 monitors capable of displaying same resolution and refresh rate, but can be different brands/sizes...e.g. my middle monitor is a different brand from my side monitors and works fine.

Surround 3D requires 3 monitors capable of displaying same resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, so the shutter glasses (also required) can show one image at 60 Hz to each eye.

Does bezel management work when you use 3 monitors of different size? :)

If the monitors are different heights, then bezel correction will not give you a correct image with Surround or Eyefinity because while the resolutions are the same, the pictures are different sizes so they won't line up the full image. Think of when you got your school pictures and you had 3x5, 4x6 and 5x7 prints, there would be no way to line up the 3x5 and 4x6 pictures and get a correct spanned image...however, 3x5 portrait sides and 5x7 middle could work, but Surround and Eyefinity do not support that setup (yet), personally would love to try a 27" landscape middle monitor and 22" portrait sides, there would be less edge distortion to see.

SoftTH does support different size monitors, it simply draws the largest height image, and then the side monitors only display their part of the image in proportion to the middle monitor (like picture windows)...pretty hard to setup though (requires some math) and SoftTH does not work with as many games as Surround (I used SoftTH for years (free!), but Surround is superior). Perhaps Surround will add this feature also?...

Even though the pixel pitch of the larger screen makes it harder to get a perfect image, bezel management would help a lot even with cases of different sizes (especially 24" with 23" and similar setups). :)

There is also the thing about reported monitor size by edid which is a problem in some cases with Eyefinity, where the bezel management is disabled even though all the screens are 24" due to EDID error with the screens. Being able to use bezel management regardless of size would workaround this issue.

That is true, did not think about slightly different size monitors, bezel management would indeed help there (as long as the resolutions and refresh rate are the same).

Ya, stupid EDID prevents me from using BC on my setup. I'm almost tempted to go NV if they can fit the damn feature onto one card...

Wow, with the custom resolution set by bezel compensation, I'm now able to see EVERYTHING when in 3D mode. In 3D I see RIGHT THROUGH the bezels. None of the world is covered by the bezels. I don't know how it works but it does :rockout It's like you're looking right through the bezels and they're double visioned.
