Haha yeah, ignoring a game that actually supports surround. Good one :cheers

How does this chug along at all on surround resolutions? Possible to get 30+ FPS with tweaking (even at low graphic settings?)?

[quote]nope, still 12:3 aspect ratio in 1680x1050

Go to the first page of the topic and the last post.. you shall find the answer there. The game sets you up with a 3 screen setup and you have to edit the .cfg file to return it to a normal 1 screen solution. Of note make sure to read page 2 as it also covers there is more than 1 .cfg file and you need to make sure they are all the same or it wont work.

what was mentioned there was eyefinity but i have a tripleheadtogo on a geforce gtx 295.

so, how do i set the matrox digital edition that way, that the other monitors arent recognized without pluggin the thripleheadtogo off? in the matrox launcher i set a resolution of 1680x1050 but still the game keeps recognizing all three monitors and sets the aspect ratio that way. and changing fov doesn't help, the aspect ratio stays the same. just look at my pictures i made in 1680x1050:

why don't you just use the Nvidia control panel, switch to the 24" you have to primary and shut off the Matrox display, then run the game? I do this all the time for games that are not set up for surround correctly.

It looks like it's pulling the FOV from your desktop res. Far Cry 2 does this as well. Have you tried changing your Windows res before you launch the game? I guess it may actually be reading the monitor info in display properties and pulling max res, even though you can set it to something different. Quite odd behavior, if that is the case.

tried that, doesn't work. i think i have to wait for a patch or a fix that lets change the aspect ratio in the options. until then i have to play in windowed more or on my 24" and get a pain in the neck from staring up all the time or just play something else ^^

Ahh, yes. I had the same problem until I picked me up a chair that raises and lowers with about 12 inches travel.
