I currently have 2x 4890 in crossfire running my Th2go @ 3840x1024 on Windows 7 x64 and Vista64. I am pleased with performance but i am stuck on cat 9.9 because my resolution will not show up after i restart my computer. I have not tried a new driver in about 8 weeks (because i have to rebuild my OS after a failed attempt).... does anyone have a 4800 or 5800 series card running a similar resolution and running a newer driver than 9.9? Does anyone know of a potential fix for this issue (i noticed a firmware update since the last time i tried updating). Thanks

I have also read the ATi does not plan to support Th2go.....where does this leave Matrox in the near future?

UGH I hate that ATI is being retarded about the TH2Go, it's not like it'll even impact the sale of any card but there 5870 6 Output Card (Which isn't even out) or maybe there external graphic cards for Laptops (not that anyone would actually try to game at 5040x1050 on a internal laptop GPU). I do wonder if they are doing it on purpose on purpose, because business wise it doesn't make since because they'll benefit from TH2Go user buying there new GPU instead of losing them to nVidia. Well anyway, rant over.

I'm running Win7, with a TH2Go DE, 10.1 Drivers, 4870 1GB, 5040x1050, Latest Firmware and Powerdesk. No issues except that I cant Run my x300 anymore, but that due to the driver revision.

Are you sure you are installing everything correctly? Im using Win7 and can select either 5040x1050 and 3840x1080 on my 4870X2 and now also my dual 4870X2's.. Updated monthly all the way since ive had my TH2Go and have had no resolution issues yet.

How?? Please let us know because there are a fair few of us that can't get the 3840 x 1024 res..

What Catalyst are you on now?

Did you remove old and then install or just kept installing updates as you went along.

Seriously if you can get the 3840x024 resolution on your 4870x2 with the latest Catalyst it will be a BIG help...

Update:

So i finally got the balls to try to update drivers again and it worked this time (running 3840x1024)!!! i am finally on something higher than 9.8 with my 2x 4890's.

Basically what i did was first update my firmware on my Th2go to the newest (came out in December i think) and then i installed 10.2 over the 9.8 no uninstall and it works!! Thanks for the input guys!

Thanks for the post. Will give it a go, can't update Firmware as I have an analogue unfortunately.

Maybe it's the combination of keeping 9.8 and putting the newer drivers ontop. Hope sio as I have always cleaned old drivers out before installing new ones.
