Ultimate Game Capture Software Review/Comparison: Phase 1 - Preparation
I think it's time for one person like myself to take the time and actually use and evaluate every one of the current mainstream capture programs and then break it down into a comparison showdown and review.
There probably wont be any clear "best program", however the results will be a clearly defined pros/cons about each program and highlights about what the program is good for and what is is not.
Upon completion you would be able to determine what program might be best for you and why.
I plan to make it into a video comparison however I will probably come up with some written documentation for this one as well since I generally write articles better than I produce videos and the project will take a good amount of personal time thus it merits the effort needed to do both a written review and a comparison video.
To start things off, lets get a conclusive list of all the programs to be tested. This is phase 1. I'll list what I know and you guys post back with the ones you know of that should be tested that I missed. Please include a link of where to download it as well as any other relevant information like ways to make the program work better, why you like it, why you don't like it, etc.
All the programs must have a free trial or be free to use as I won't be paying for them just to test them.
Here is the master list.

May opt out some of these programs if I find major flaws in them to prevent it being competitive like it has not seen an update in the last 4 or 5 years, or it is not compatible with newer OS's & games.
So I will start investigating and working on it as we speak as a little side project. Hope the final result is big and helpful to everyone interested.
