Custom USB Drive - Hot Wheels Ken Block Fiesta

Hey all, I recently purchased something that some of you may like, so thought I'd share it with you.

I'd recently discovered that I had used or 'donated' most of my USB drives to people for a variety of tasks, so I went looking for a new one. I found this guy on ebay who makes custom USB drives out of Hot Wheels cars as a hobby. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but as a motorsport fanatic, I couldn't help myself and bought a Ken Block Gymkhana Fiesta USB drive to check it out!

Ebay seller 'realcustomflashdrives' has a bunch of Hot Wheels cars that he has already turned into USB drives for sale, so I sent him a message and asked if he could do it with the Ken Block car. No problems, he had it posted within days. The only delay was international shipping but it was worth the wait.

You can get different USB drive sizes, and they have a light inside that illuminates the interior of the car (which is well preserved despite the installation of the drive) when the drive is plugged in. The seller says he intentionally makes sure there is plenty of room at the back of the car to plug the drive into a variety of computers with no interference, and mine had plenty of space. A nice touch was naming the drive BLOCK 43 when it appears in My Computer.

Just thought it was pretty cool and wanted to share it with motorsport-minded people who may be interested in one for themselves! 8)
