Hi everybody!

My name's Rob and I'm an TH2Go-junkie.

I have a question that I couldn't find an answer to anywhere;

When using a DVI-DL from computer to TH2GO do you also need 3x DVI-DL to the monitors from the TH2GO or will it work / work with the same quality as with DVI-SL ?

Sorry if this question has already been answered.

Thanks!

Cant image the DVI outputs are dual link as the max they output is just 1680x1050 (each, times 3).

So 3x DVI-SL-cables will do just fine then?

Yes, the cables between the TH2Go and monitors need only be single-link. You only need a dual-link cable between the graphics card and TH2Go for 4320x900 and 5040x1050.

edit: doing the sums, it'd seem you don't need a dual-link for 4320x900, but don't quote me.

Sorry, have to quote you anyway as I have one last question..

Has anybody tested using dvi-vga-adapters on the TH2G and if it is compatible with vga-cables using my resolution, 4320x900..?

Analog signals and cables are capable of massive resolution, you just risk loosing some quality over distance. Ive ran one of the monitors over VGA (from the TH2G) when testing the Radeon and there was no appreciable difference in quality. The quality is really down to your monitor's VGA converter though.

Running VGA to the TH2G however means loosing Bezel Management however.

I'm using 1 VGA and 2 DVI cables on my triplehead2go. You wouldn't see any difference.
