Hi,
Does anyone has an idea, how this game could be played on a wide screen monitor? 1440x900 is the native resolution. It's a notebook monitor, the video card is a Geforce GO 7600, but I don't see any setting which would force non-native resolutions to be centered (and not stretched) on the screen.

Thanks!

In your ForceWare driver settings (if you don't have ForceWare drivers already, go get them) click nView Display Settings, click the Device Settings on the right and select Device Adjustments. From there, picked the Fixed aspect ratio scaling option.

That does not work... The driver "forgets" about this setting, if the desktop is in native resolution.

That's pretty odd, it shouldn't be "forgetting" anything. So you select the fixed aspect ratio scaling option, click OK then go back and it's at the default setting? Which ForceWare drivers do you have?

I have a driver dated 2007.02.10., version is 7.15.11.65, and it's not WHQL (I cannot find a new "official" driver.) Do you have any idea, where can I find a recent driver for Vista?

I know that the latest drivers doesn't scale at all, however they have left the option still there. So you need some driver from before the 1xx.xx serie. There was another post here on the forum, didn't know if he found the scaling fixed drivers.

[Edit]But it was on a xp computer, i dunno if it is possible on a vista computer.

YESS YESS! :)

The new driver does solve the problem (101.28). It DOES remember my ratio-setting.

Just in case, if anybody is interested in it:
