Hey !

I got my setup running @ 5040 np

Burnout will start with a black screen and thats it...

It works fine on 3840x1024 (my last setup) and 1680x1050 (single monitor)

help ?

Details please ... OS ? Other games working at 5040 ?
I don't remember why I took 'faux TripleHead' screenshots for the DR, but I'm positive the res works natively in the demo & full game.

other games work np.

Win7 64

gtx 260 sli - 191.07

when i start the game it gives a black screen - i can get back to desktop with alt-f4

Don't have the game installed right now, but maybe it's starting in 720p upon install and your monitor can't handle this res ? Deleting or editing the config file should solve this problem. I'll try and check the game again over the weekend so I can hopefully be more specific later.

Are you sure it supports a resolution higher than 3840x1024? I'm just looking at the configuration and it's the highest listed.
