I've applied the patch for Knights of the Old Republic to bring the resolution to 1680x1050 and copied the HUD files into the override folder. Everything looks great. Had to comment out the movie edits in the .ini file so the movies would remain in 1024x768 res (if thats the default) but wanted to know if there was a way to make the menus "stretch" or fill the screen a little better. They look okay but they're about the size of a CD/DVD case.

Any help/ideas would be great.

This might, and I stress might, be technically possible, but it would require a significant amount of work. There's no quick an easy way to do it, you'd have the manually change the coords for every control on every menu as well as resize the art. It's just not worth it for something that's not a signficant impedement to enjoying the game like the HUD was.

Thought as much. In the end I adjusted quick and it's not as though it makes the game un-playable. Thanks for the reply though.
