I've been running a BFG 8800GTX, it was a gift from 2K Games for fixing Bioshock.

I can play almost anything at 5040x1050, but i notice some slowdowns with games like Crysis, i often choose to play at 1680x1050 when it seems too sluggish... had I a better card I wouldn't do this.

Guy's, I'm running dual 8800GTX's in SLI and have been for a while, I use a Tagen 1100Watt PSU.

I'm getting the following messages... can anyone help. I tried replugging in the two 6 pin power connectors over and over as I've read they can be loose. Any corrections?

Here is the message

"The NVIDIA System Sentinel is reporting that the NVIDIA-powered graphics card is not receiving sufficient power."

followed by a message stating it will lower the performance of the card... WTF... ?

Thanks as always!

Try to ensure the 12v power going to the cards is coming from different rails (to each other) on the PSU and ideally not shared with the Rail going to the CPU/Mobo. Basically change the which plug is plugged in where (using Molex to PCIE adapters I would assume).

i just sold my 8800gtx and plan on getting a GTX275
i play alot of racing games, gtr2,gtr evo, motogp08, sbk08 and some fps
COD4

overall it was great on single screen but now with my th2go i have seen quite a drop in fps, not so in gtr but in every other game
updating drivers didn't do a whole lot
so after asking around here i'm taking the step towards GTX275 and should see a significant increase in fps

Definately something wrong with your PSU or the way you hooked up your card, because I'm running a smaller PSU with more things on my board than you and not having issues.
