Hi everyone. I have a huge problem setting up my desktop with 3 Syncmaster 226BW and the triplehead2go, which I would like to buy if my setup works.

On one side, someone from another forum helped me a lot trying to fix the issue with 57 Hz working on the 226BW. I tryed older versions of nvidia drivers but my monitor will flicker and I cant see anything.

The matrox webside provides a tool for downloading and checking hardware compatiblity. I used it and as the tool says, my system will be fine for using th2g. if you know the tool, it has 3 tabs and all checked green in my case.

Also I talked to Samsung support Germany and they sayed because of the TFT technology a monitor cant provide 57 Hz. And based on your list with working monitors, the support told me that they all not different in the way of the screens.

The guy who helped me out in the other forum sayed that this is because the support doesnt know wide screen gaming like ya´ll do. And he is right.
He also said that if my monitor doesnt support 57 Hz right now, it might not support it with the adapter.

Now I need someone who might know for sure, if I can get it to work or not. I spend a lot of time trying out, finding people who know and stuff like that. I am pretty much helpless and maybe I find my answers here now.

I sent him over here from EVGA forums. Hopefully some of you guys can help him troubleshoot this. As far as I know most Samsung LCDs are just fine with TH2G digital, but I have no particular experience with his model # so I hope you guys can help him out with some insight. So far I've suggested he try a custom resolution in 182.50 drivers to test compatibility.

hi

I talked to Matrox itself and she told me, that without the Drivers from the website, my monitors will make problems anyway. Also my displays shouldt make trouble, since she looked at the native resolution? or something, and all should be fine.

All I need to do is buying the TH2G and install the software from the webside. I can not check if the 226BW supports 57 Hz without the adapter, since the device needs the software which changes the drivers for 57 Hz support.

I hope someone knows what Im talking about Oo
my english is not good :D

I dunno dude, my 226BW works fine at 57hz and I have used it to play PS3 at 1080p before, so it will do HD with no problem as well. I get a native resolution warning, but that disappears.
You are using the digital input and not the analog input on the monitor right? The only time I got a blank screen was when I tried to run 5040x1050 at 57hz on the analog input, it can't handle the highest resolutions.
