Can we get some solid pictures, and possibly a DR?

Is the game Hor+? Do you need the Racer_S hack for WS, or just TH?

Yes, it's HOR+ for 16:10 and 16:9. (though i have not compared those two to each other)

Shit, don't tell me I'm going to have to be the one to slap together a DR....

Off-topic. I tried out the Street Fighter IV benchmark tool and the demo gave vert- :( Of course that's no real indicator of the full games' widescreen, but not a good sign. At least it looks and runs well.

I have today and tomorrow off from work. I'll do it if nobody else says they want to.

prototypeenginef.dll HEX edit

offset 0x01075BC8 80020000E0010000

2 uint32's 640 and 480, change to desired resolution

first go ingame choose 640x480 as your resolution, exit then edit the dll to your resolution, start the game

i did almost the same thing but i edited 1680 and 1050 which is at 0x01075C20 but not everyone will be able to choose this res so edit the 640x480 one

to get everything back to normal youll have to restore the dll and probably rename/delete profile.bin in "my documents/prototype"

Could you (or someone else who's done this) upload this file for me? I can't make any sense of this Hex Editing stuff.. I downloaded the program, found the 80 02 00 00 e0 01 00 00..

I changed out 8002 for 3B01 and E001 for 1A04, when I launched the game it was in 1680x1050 (from what I could tell) not 5040x1050, and the resolution option said disabled.

What am I doing wrong? I made sure it was in 640x480 before I edited it..

Since I have a low end card I'm trying to get this low 16:9 resolution 848x640.

Anyone knows the hex value for this?

350 280

Is that the hex value for my 848x480? :)

I found 80020000E0010000 in the dll so which part needs to become 350 280?

Thanks! :P

So this game doesn't have proper widescreen support? I thought that was pretty much a requirement for 360 games seeing as how they are run on 720p/1080p.

It does have proper widescreen... if you are able to get your desired resoluion. If not, you'll have to hex-edit. Or maybe wait for a patch. I've seen it on three sepereate rigs and all were able to at least select native resolution.

PS - many x360 games are improper vert- and some even render in 4:3 and stertch it to appear as 16:9.
