- Open the windows calculator
- Enter the decimal value of 1440 ( we'll use 1440x900 )
- Hit the Hex button and it should say 5A0
- Add a 0 in front of it so it says 05 A0 and switch the two values
- You'll end up with A0 05
That's the value you need for 1440. Now let's check the value 900:
- Enter 900 as decimal
- Hit the hex radio button and it should say 384
- Add a 0 in front of it so it says 0384
- Switch the two values 8403
So when you'll use the resolution of 1440x900 you will have to enter the value A0 05 00 00 84 03
