Hi guys ...
I have a small issue with the new firmware update ...
My 24" Dell monitors have a native res of 1920x1200 ...
As the new firmware can not do 3 x 1920x1200 I use 3 x 1680x1050 up-scaled and it looks good.

For single screen mode when I click "Change" in the GMX Setup I am offered (amongst other resolutions) 1920x1200 and it is also in the "Edit Mode List" as one of the 4 resolutions allowed.
The problem is when I set 1920x1200 nothing happens ... the screen stays at 3 x 1680x1050.
1920x1200 is not available in "Display Properties" or the nVidia control panel and nVidia custom res doesn't work or fails ...

This is no big deal for me ... 1680x1050 looks good and I haven't actually played on a single screen in a very very long time.
Never the less ...
I know Mach1.9pants is experiencing the same issue with his Dell monitors ... so ... I wondered is anyone else experiencing a similar issue with the 1920x1200 single screen resolution ?

PS. Please do not make this thread into a discussion about up-scaling !

Yeah same here, as Paddy says.
I have 3 Dell LCDs... a 2407WFP in the centre and 2 E2408's on the outside. I am unable to select 1920x1200, and I have emailed Matrox about it .
However on mine I the GXM gives the option of 1920x1200 saying:
Display 1 doesn't use GXM hardware. It uses a display mode of 1920 by 1200, 32 bpp and 60 Hz at location (0, 0).

But when I hit apply the following error message comes up:
This display mode is currently unsupported and can’t be applied. Make sure the display mode is supported by your Matrox product….

I have emailed Matrox support already so here's hoping for a solution.... ;)

Im gonna watch this thread, if you guys find a solution then im buying a TH2Go for sure :)

Matrox have replied with how to enable 1920x1200...w00t...works perfect:

QUOTE:"For single 1920*1200, you can try to use EDIT MODE LIST to add a single mode.
Procedures should be similar to what the following article describes.
http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/support/gxm/windows/th2go/digital/whatsPopular5/
You need to select Number of Monitors to Single."

So the process is similar, just select the 1monitor button, I had to remove one of the 4 resolutions on the RHS (cos you can have a max of 4 available..I removed 800x600) then highlighted 1920x1200 and 'arrowed' it across onto the RHS table. Restarted PC and now 1920x1200 is available as a resolution on the desktop properties......
....now I can play CoD4 online without swapping cables...yippeee!

Hmmmm ...
I had already done that and 1920x1200 is in my list of 4 that are allowed ... nothing changes when I try to use it.

So you don't now have 1920x1200 on your:
right click>properties>settings>screen resolution on the desktop?

It wasn't there for me before and after I put it as one of the 4 of the single displays it appeared.

No ...

It is there in the "edit mode List" and on the RHS but ...

1920x1200 is not available in "Display Properties" or the nVidia control panel and nVidia custom res doesn't work or fails ...

If I click the button "Change" ... and choose it ... nothing changes.
I'm still at 5040x1050.

Whilst it would be nice to have I'm not too bothered as I said in my first post ... 1680x1050 looks good and I haven't actually played on a single screen in a very very long time ...

Thank you for your efforts to help me all the same ... 8)

No probs, I couldn't so without single just for things such as BF and CoD4!

Works cool for me!
