did you post a link to this thread? you should. and also people STOP BUYING TRIPLEHEAD2GO UNTIL THEY HAVE SUPPORT FOR ALL RESOLUTIONS. THIS IS A RIPOFF IF YOU HAVE TO PAY $300 OR MORE EVERYTIME JUST FOR NEW RESOLUTIONS. stop making the rich richer be wise and demand good quality product from the begining.

Interesting bit
I think announcements for this will not be publicized before mid year.

I hate when one company has control over a certain market.
It's a shame no one gives multiple monitor support in more games. Softth proves it's not THAT big of an addition, but game company's are lazy/dont care.

I don't mind spending 300 extra bucks for an adaptor to make it work, I wouldn't even mind if it were more then that if it supported 5040x1050... We can put a man on the moon, but three monitor gaming is a huge obstacle.

(Sorry if i ranted here a little, i just blew 1000 bucks on my three monitor set up only to find out it's unsupported in most games.)

I'm gonna throw in my support for the new higher resolutions as well. I have 3 22" monitors, so I'd love to see 3x1680x1050 supported on the TripleHead2Go, especially if all it would take is a firmware update (which I am increasingly led to believe).

ditto....i would really like to be able to run 4800x1200 or the widescreen equivalent. and b/c that is the next most logical step for matrox, it wouldn't seem wise to buy the triplehead2go until they announce if it will be a firmware fix or will require buying a different, newer piece of hardware.

I'm on board here... I'm so surprised at the poor support for this product. I hope they work on it.

I'd buy a new one, I have a 24" dell, and another 2 (of the cheaper ones) would be great for 5760x1200.... all shades of awesome that would be :)

AFAIK the 3870x2 series is capable of 4 independent displays (like the 88GTX can do 2) but you can't span games across them

So who feels like starting a petition to Matrox? For now I'd be happy to just know whether getting 5040x1050 out of my TH2Go is a Firmware or Hardware limitation. I've heard both answers from people within Matrox, so it sounds like they aren't even sure. Can anyone say with certainty which it is?

5040x1050 is beyond the maximum possible on a dual-link dvi cable so I'd say the limit isn't strictly on the TH2G.

However, a newer model could use a video card's dual dual-link outputs to make it possible, that and 5760x1200.
